About Me

a man in a chair

Hi, I’m Hossein 🙂

Born and raised in Tehran, Iran, I left the country at the age of 17 to study abroad in Budapest, Hungary for almost 4 years before finally making my way to the beautiful land of Vancouver, Canada.

Throughout my life, I have always been passionate about technology hardware & software, visual design, and motion graphics. When I’m not studying or working, you can find me mountain biking on my e-bike that I converted myself, or getting lost in the virtual worlds within virtual reality, a big passion of mine.

I am currently studying New Media Design and Web Development at the British Colombia Institute of Technology (BCIT), paving my path for a career in design and development.

Core Values

With how much is going around us in the world, I strongly believe in hope and staying positive about the future. Optimism and hope are what have kept me going through the years and helped me make the move of leaving my home country at the age of 17 bearable.

While most people would not think of humor as a core value, it definitely is for me. Laughter is a cure for a lot of things and the chemicals released during a laugh are uplifting and helps with connections, communications, and innovation.
I believe in humor having a huge role in our day-to-day health including our place of work.

Being trusted and others having the ability to count on me during whatever situation they may be going through is one of my core values and something that people around me can vouch for.
